The Pygmalion Leader

An Experiential Workshop to Unlock Your Leadership Potential

The task of leadership is not to put greatness into humanity, but to elicit it, for the greatness is already there.

John Buchan

A genuine leader is not a searcher for consensus but a molder of consensus.

Unleashing Potential

Why do so many highly capable people underperform? Why is so much of our individual and collective capability grossly underutilized?

These are questions that a lot of people and almost all leaders grapple with on an almost daily basis. Every individual has vast potential but a lot of it is hidden or locked away. And an effective leader needs to ‘posses the key’, or know the levers to operate, to unlock this potential, both in one’s own self and in others.

The Pygmalion Framework (based on the Greek myth of a sculptor Pygmalion who fell in love with his own ivory sculpture of a woman and further articulated in its application to performance by the Rosenthal–Jacobson study) is an extremely effective approach to understanding one’s potential and in providing a framework and tools for leaders to create motivated, aspirational teams who perform to their true potential.

Develop your inner presence by applying Pygmalion principles to eliminate self doubt and increase self-confidence. Combine this with empathetic and impactful communication, integrity, authenticity and intensity to unlock your leadership potential!
